April 8 Zoom Meeting: TV Shows and Novels. An Unlimited Conversation with Lee Goldberg

#1 New York Times bestselling novelist, Lee Goldberg, gave us permission to ask him anything. His exact words were, “…you can ask whatever you like.” Let’s take him up on it. Lane Stone will start the evening off with questions, but we want this to be a highly interactive experience.
Lee Goldberg is enormously successful both as an author and TV writer. He wrote the “Diagnosis Murder” novels, based on the hit CBS TV show that he also wrote and produced. Just to show he’s not a flash in the pan, he later wrote 15 bestselling novels based on the TV show “Monk,” which he worked on. Then just to show off, he co-created the hit Hallmark movie series “Mystery 101.
On the writing front, his most recent books include Movieland (the 4th novel in the Eve Ronin series), Malibu Burning (the first novel in the Sharpe & Walker series), and the genre-bending thriller Calico. His TV work has earned him two MWA Edgar Award nominations.
Lee lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter. He professes to sleep in “Man From U.N.C.L.E.” pajamas, but we were unable to verify the claim –– but then he did say we could ask him anything.
