May 9 Zoom Meeting: Pitching and Screenwriting

Jeanne Veillette Bowerman, a senior executive at Pipeline Media Group and Book Pipeline, will join us via Zoom on May 9 to explain the finer points of her service that helps writers pitch their books to publishers and movie/television producers.

The concept: enter the Book Pipeline contest, pay a modest fee, and the winner’s work is pitched. This has resulted in numerous writers getting a new lease on life for their creative endeavors. The service is for both unpublished and published manuscripts.

Jeanne is a former editor-in-chief of Script magazine and a former senior editor at Writer’s Digest, where she wrote the regular screenwriting column, “Take Two.” She has been recognized as one of the “Top 10 Most Influential Screenwriting Bloggers.” Her Script magazine column “Balls of Steel” was selected as recommended reading by Universal Writers Program. A compilation of her articles, Balls of Steel: The Screenwriter’s Mindset, is now available.

Register here. The event is for MWA-MA members. The meeting is free, but registration is necessary. Register directly on Zoom, using the link above. Once you register, Zoom will email you the meeting link. Please keep your confirmation email from Zoom with the meeting link!

We look forward to seeing you!
