Mind mapping is a visual technique that keeps your main theme front and center, while giving you a visual image of how your characters, key events, and settings layer together to give you a plot driven story that will captivate your reader. You’ll be able to see your story all on one page, allowing you to easily spot plot holes and weak spots while still allowing you the creative freedom to move scenes around.
Learn the ropes on this great tool to help with story ideas and execution for Plotters, Pantsers, and Plantsers. We’ll create a story during class to illustrate all the techniques and nuances. Bring your ideas, your creativity, and your burn to learn as we bubble our way into a map to guide you in your writing!
Misty Simon always wanted to be a storyteller…preferably behind a Muppet. Animal was number one, followed closely by Sherlock Hemlock… Since that dream didn’t come true, she began writing stories to share her world with readers, one laugh at a time.
Touching people’s hearts and funny bones are two of her favorite things, and she hopes everyone at least snickers in the right places when reading her books.
