New York Times bestselling author David Baldacci, who has sold more than 150 million copies of his thrillers worldwide, joins us via Zoom at 7:30 on April 11 to discuss his writing career, including how he juggles several series with diverse main characters, and how he does research. He has published 47 novels, all national and international bestsellers, with several adapted for film and television. His novels have been translated into more than 45 languages and sold in more than 80 countries. He has also published seven novels for younger readers.
David burst onto the literary scene in 1996 with Absolute Power. As a teaser for the book, the first chapter was printed in Publishers Weekly. The book was later made into a major motion picture directed by, and starring, Clint Eastwood. David and his wife founded the Wish You Well Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting literacy efforts across the United States.
